Kurt Angle Wouldn't Blame Finn Balor For Leaving WWE

Kurt Angle would support Finn Balor’s decision if he ever left WWE

Finn Balor is currently riding high in WWE as the leader of the villainous Judgment Day, but many fans feel that WWE should do more with Balor, with Finn often unsuccessful when challenging for world titles or in main event positions.

Balor has a supporter in Kurt Angle, with the WWE Hall of Famer thinking WWE needs to do something major with the former NXT Champion or else risk losing him:

“Well, you know what? It would've been nice if they would've given him [Balor] this world title [at SummerSlam 2023]. You know, I think he's really over, incredibly athletic. He has a lot of charisma. This kid, you know, if WWE doesn't end up doing something with him, that's dramatic. I wouldn't blame him if he went off and went somewhere else. I don't wanna see him do that because I love the WWE, and I think he's a good fit for them, but they need to start putting this kid over. He deserves it. They're over [Judgment Day]. They're still over without Edge,” said Angle on the Kurt Angle Show podcast.

Whilst Balor has held the Intercontinental Championship on two occasions, and the US Title once, his lone Universal Championship run lasted less than 24 hours, with Balor memorably forced to vacate the title due to injury.
