Kyle O'Reilly Told To Turn Around Snoopy Hat On AEW Dynamite According To The Butcher

Kyle O’Reilly’s Snoopy hat was point of contention on AEW Dynamite according to The Butcher

Kyle O’Reilly made his All Elite Wrestling return at Revolution on March 3, and has since made several appearances for the company as he awaits his in-ring return.

O’Reilly appeared on the March 13 Big Business special of Dynamite, speaking with Renee Paquette backstage about his upcoming singles bout with Bryan Keith, with O’Reilly sporting a backwards cap. According to AEW’s The Butcher, this wasn’t a stylistic choice but an instruction from the segment director, due to O’Reilly’s cap featuring Snoopy:

“Yesterday, director dude told @KORcombat to turn his snoopy hat backwards for his big promo on Dynamite. Just so everyone knows, it was snoopy on the other side. Don’t believe what anyone else says,” posted Butcher on X/Twitter.

Why anyone would have a problem with Charlie Brown’s beagle is beyond comprehension, but Butcher added that the director in question thought Snoopy was owned by Disney, and seemingly didn’t want to risk a copyright/licensing issue.

O’Reilly vs. Keith is set for the March 16 edition of AEW Collision, and will mark O’Reilly’s first match in two years. It is unknown if he will be wearing any Peanuts gear on his way to the ring though.

Good grief.
