Macey Estrella - the former Lacey Evans - has announced that she is returning to professional wrestling.

Taking to Instagram, Evans said:

"I will be returning to wrestling. Yes, the Sassy Southern Belle is on her way back. As you all know, I just did a signing in Las Vegas during WrestleMania and it really lit that fire. Getting to see my fans, getting to conversate with them."

Evans was at WrestleCon during WrestleMania 42 weekend, and she has claimed that fans kept asking her when she would be returning to the squared circle. This, in addition to Estrella's children wanting to see her wrestle, has motivated her to come back to the industry.

After five years in the United States Marine Corps, Lacey Evans began training to become a pro wrestler in 2014, and she signed with WWE in 2016. After beginning her WWE run in NXT as the Sassy Southern Belle, Evans headed to the main roster in early 2019.

Evans underwent multiple character changes on WWE TV, including her having a storyline where she was in a romantic relationship with Ric Flair. In 2022, Evans adopted a military-based character and began using the Cobra Clutch as her finisher, which had been used by Sgt. Slaughter during his in-ring career.

Evans departed WWE in August 2023, and she would later reveal that WWE was never her passion. Post-WWE, Estrella ran a cafe in Beaufort County, South Carolina until 2025, and she also runs her own OnlyFans page.
