Larry D Requests Release From IMPACT Wrestling

Another possible departure from IMPACT

An IMPACT talent has asked to depart the promotion.

Larry D announced on Twitter yesterday that he had requested his release from the promotion and he was looking forward to performing elsewhere.

"I love @IMPACTWRESTLING with all my heart, ive been able to achieve things id never imagine! With heavy heart ive requested my release and am eager to make waves in other markets...I will be accepting podcast, interviews an other media in the coming weeks..much all! Lets work!!" Larry D tweeted.

After performing at several co-promoted shows, Larry D made his IMPACT debut at All Glory in October 2019 in a loss to Acey Romero. Larry then formed XXXL with Romero and they were regulars on TV until May of 2021, which included a storyline of Larry D being arrested after he shot John E. Bravo at his wedding to Rosemary.

Larry's tag team partner Acey Romero requested and was granted his release from IMPACT in October of 2021 and Larry returned to the promotion in November under his alter ego, Lawrence D.

He has since made a handful of appearances, last wrestling at the Throwback Throwdown II show in December as Badlands Bart in a loss to Jake Something under his Harry Hall persona.
