Report: Upcoming Episode Of WWE SmackDown To Be Taped

Ahead of a trip to Saudi Arabia

A future edition of Friday Night SmackDown is set to be taped.

With WWE's latest Saudi Arabian pay-per-view set to take place on Saturday, February 19, the company will tape the February 18 episode of SmackDown one week earlier, according to Mike Johnson of PWInsider. The show will ultimately be taped due to the time it takes to fly to the Middle East.

The February 18 show will instead be taped on February 11 from the Smoothie King Center in New Orleans, Louisiana.

PWInsider also noted NXT UK will tape their next set of episodes on March 2 and March 3 from BT Sport Studios in London, England.

WWE's next Saudi Arabian show is set to be Elimination Chamber. Already announced for the show is a Raw Women's Title match between champion Becky Lynch and Lita, as well as a WWE Title match inside the Elimination Chamber. Champion Bobby Lashley will defend the gold against Brock Lesnar, Seth Rollins, Riddle, Austin Theory and AJ Styles.
