Latest On Jerry Lawler's Recovery From A Stroke

Jerry Lawler has positive updates on his medical condition

WWE Hall of Famer Jerry “The King” Lawler has had a tough start to 2023, suffering from what was described as a major stroke in February, which was his second stroke after having one in 2018.

When speaking to Bill Apter, Lawler revealed that he is still recovering but things are going well, working on his speech and writing which are both seeming positive.

"I've had a bunch of different things done, and I’m still going to rehab three times a week. And probably the main thing that's drawing me back now that you could probably tell as you hear me talk, my voice is not the same as it was beforehand. It's slowly coming back, but it needed to come back a little more before I could go and do -- just making sense with my speech and vocabulary."

Lawler noted how he is getting better at writing his autograph, and talking often during his rehab to help with his vocabulary. He also thanked fans for their love and continued support.
