Latest On Travis Scott & WWE

Travis Scott was not only in the ring for John Cena’s insane heel turn at Elimination Chamber 2025, but he also emerged during the WrestleMania 41 main event to help Cena win the WWE Championship from Cody Rhodes, setting up what many believed to be a celebrity match - with pitches suggesting the likes of Money In The Bank and SummerSlam, though this has not happened.

According to Dave Meltzer of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Travis Scott’s foray into professional wrestling may not happen at all. The reaction in WWE suggests that Travis Scott doesn’t like to commit to anything, going half of the way in whilst also trying various other projects at the time, but ultimately not putting his all into it. It is noted by Meltzer that due to Scott being a personal client of Ari Emmanuel, there was a lot of effort to accommodate Scott, but it “became too much to deal with”. 

SummerSlam will instead feature Jelly Roll stepping up to the plate in WWE’s latest celebrity match, as he will team with Randy Orton to take on the duo of Logan Paul & Drew McIntyre.
