Last night, Dave Meltzer of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter reported that Ortiz and Santana of the Latin American eXchange had finished up their respective IMPACT Wrestling appearance dates at Slammiversary on Sunday night.

Amid the rumours that both WWE and AEW are interested in signing the pair that have been spreading like wildfire over the last few weeks, LAX heading for pastures new looked almost nailed on after they lost the IMPACT tag titles to Ethan Page and Josh Alexander at Friday night’s “Bash at the Brewery” in San Antonio, before failing to regain them in a triple threat match at the pay-per-view on Sunday.

The latest update on their future comes to us from PWInsider, who have revealed that both Ortiz and Santana are still under contract with IMPACT until August meaning the pair would be available for the company's TV tapings later this month.

PWI also make note that "IMPACT had been trying to lock the duo in to a new deal, but it does not appear to have happened."

WWE or AEW then...
