Leyla Hirsch Injured During AEW Dark: Elevation Taping

Leyla Hirsch looks to be out of action

One of All Elite Wrestling's featured performers could be set for a stint on the shelf.

'Legit' Leyla Hirsch was in action on the AEW Dark: Elevation taping ahead of Wednesday's edition of Dynamite against Christian Marie.

Less than a minute into the match, though, Hirsch suffered an injury to her knee following a Somersault Flip out of the corner. Hirsch landed awkwardly and the match was immediately stopped. She was then assisted to the back by medical personnel.

The extent of Hirsch's injury is currently unknown.

Hirsch has been featured throughout 2022 as a member of the women's division, feuding with Kris Statlander and Red Velvet.

She picked up a win over Statlander on the Revolution Buy-In and she recently defeated Red Velvet in their rubber match on the March 23 episode of Dynamite.

Hirsch also had the opportunity to earn an AEW Women's World Title match following Revolution but she was defeated by Thunder Rosa, who went on to beat Britt Baker in a Steel Cage Match to capture the gold.

Everyone at Cultaholic Wrestling wishes Hirsch a speedy recovery from her injury.
