Leyla Hirsch Returns From Injury On ROH TV

ROH TV saw the return of Leyla Hirsch

Leyla Hirsch made her long awaited return to in-ring action, returning on Ring of Honor TV on July 6 after more than a year out with injury.

‘Legit’ was the substitute for Maria Kanellis during a mixed-six-person tag pitting The Kingdom against The Infantry and Trish Adora, with Hirsch, Mike Bennett, and Matt Taven getting the win in ROH TV’s main event.

Hirsch was in the burgeoning stages of a heel run in AEW in 2022 before tearing her right ACL during an AEW Dark: Elevation match against Christina Marie in Boston in April 2022. Hisch later underwent surgery on the injury in May 2022.

A six-year veteran, Hirsch first appeared for All Elite Wrestling in October 2020, later signing a deal to become ‘All Elite’ with the company. Hirsch’s return on July 6 (taped June 29) marked her Ring of Honor debut, and it remains to be seen if Hirsch will stick with ROH, or will return to active competition in AEW, with rival Kris Statlander now reigning as TBS Champion.
