Report: The Creed Brothers Possibly Not Moving To The WWE Main Roster

Might the Creed Brothers be staying in NXT?

A WWE NXT tag team that looked set to leave the developmental brand might not be going anywhere.

The Creed Brothers lost a Loser Leaves Town Match to The Dyad on the Tuesday, July 4 edition of NXT, with Julius being pinned following interference from a masked man in a red hood and a Double Code Breaker from the former Grizzled Young Veterans.

It appeared the tag team would be moving to either Monday Night Raw or Friday Night SmackDown without Ivy Nile, especially since reports noted that WWE were high on both Brutus and Julius Creed. That might not be the case, however, as Dave Meltzer reported in the Wrestling Observer Newsletter that one person very close to the situation said the Loser Leaves Town Match was just an angle and The Creed Brothers would be back on NXT. Another person who should know what is going on, though, said a final decision had yet to be made.

Meltzer noted those in charge of NXT could just be telling people a story about The Creed Brothers remaining in developmental to stop their main roster call-ups from leaking.

The Creed Brothers have been a part of WWE NXT since 2021. They are former NXT Tag Team Champions.
