SPOILER: AEW Star Returns From Injury During ROH TV Tapings

An AEW star is no longer injured and back on ROH TV

A star of All Elite Wrestling returned from injury at the latest Ring of Honor TV tapings.

ROH taped matches that will air on ROH TV following the AEW Collision show on Thursday, June 29 in Hamilton, Ontario, Canada. The main event of the taping was scheduled to be The Infantry and Trish Adora vs. The Kingdom and Maria Kanellis. Before the match began, however, Kanellis announced that she wasn't cleared to compete and she introduced her substitute... the returning Leyla Hirsch.

Hirsch then picked up the win in her return, forcing Adora to tap out with an Armbar following interference from Maria. Hirsch then left with Matt Taven, Mike Bennett, and Kanellis, suggesting she has become the newest member of The Kingdom.

Hirsch had been out of action since April 2022 after suffering an ACL tear during a Dark: Elevation match against Christina Marie. Hirsch had been on the receiving end of a push on AEW TV prior to her injury, even defeating Kris Statlander at Revolution 2022 and unsuccessfully challenging for the AEW Women's World Championship soon after.

Leyla has been a part of AEW since October 2020, signing a deal with the promotion soon after.
