Liv Morgan Medically Cleared To Wrestle At WWE Super Show-Down

It's the news we've all been hoping for...

When Liv Morgan was accidentally kicked in the face by Brie Bella on last week's WWE Raw, there's absolutely no doubt the Riott Squad member was cursing her luck for more than one reason. First of all, accidentally receiving an errant boot to the face probably means it isn't your day, while the concussion injury Liv suffered as a result of the blow simply couldn't have happened at a worse time.

As we all know, WWE are presenting Super Show-Down this Saturday where Morgan, Ruby Riott and Sarah Logan will be facing the trio of Raw Women's Champion Ronda Rousey and The Bella Twins. Soon after, on 28 October, WWE Evolution - the company's first-ever all women's pay-per-view event - takes place where you can be sure the Riott Squad will be involved in some form.

Liv's injury cast her appearances at both of those shows into serious doubt, however, Dave Meltzer has confirmed in this week's Wrestling Observer Newsletter that she has indeed been medically cleared to compete in the ring at Super Show-Down on Saturday. Morgan was actually cleared to compete on 1 October, meaning she could have been involved in the action on this week's Raw. However, she had a watching brief only as Rousey defeated Ruby via submission.

Here is the full card for Saturday's show:

  • The Undertaker (w/ Kane) vs. Triple H (w/ Shawn Michaels)

  • The Shield (Roman Reigns, Seth Rollins & Dean Ambrose) vs. Braun Strowman, Dolph Ziggler & Drew McIntyre

  • WWE Champion AJ Styles defending against Samoa Joe in a no DQ, no countout match

  • Ronda Rousey & The Bellas vs. The Riott Squad (Ruby Riott, Liv Morgan & Sarah Logan)

  • SmackDown Women's Champion Becky Lynch defending against Charlotte Flair

  • John Cena & Bobby Lashley vs. Kevin Owens & Elias

  • Daniel Bryan vs. The Miz (winner gets a future shot at the WWE Championship)

  • SmackDown Tag Team Champions The New Day defending against Cesaro & Sheamus

  • Asuka & Naomi vs. Peyton Royce & Billie Kay

  • WWE Cruiserweight Champion Cedric Alexander defending against Buddy Murphy
