Liv Morgan Reacts To Release Of December 2023 Arrest Footage

Liv Morgan arrest footage released

Bodycam footage of Liv Morgan's arrest from December 2023 has been released by the Law & Crime Network.

Within the footage, Morgan (real name Gionna Daddio) is shown speaking to a police officer who questions why she was swerving between lanes and driving 20 mph below the speed limit. The officer then asked if Morgan had been smoking marijuana, which she denied but Morgan did admit to being in possession of marijuana.

Two police officers then searched Morgan's vehicle for marijuana and they later found her journal and proceeded to go through it. They then laughed about finding a Liv Morgan trading card, with one of the officers saying he now recognised her from WWE programming.

The final few minutes of the bodycam footage show Morgan phoning 'Taylor', AKA Bo Dallas/Uncle Howdy, and asking him to come pick up her car as she's being arrested. She also asked him to post bail for her.

Morgan was arrested on December 14, 2023 in Sumter County, Florida for possession of marijuana, possession of drug equipment, and possession of drugs, possibly synthetic cannabinoid following a traffic stop. The most serious charge of possession of drugs, possibly synthetic cannabinoid was dropped in January 2024 and Morgan entered a plea of nolo contendere on January 31.

Morgan was fined $543 following the plea. There was no heat on the former SmackDown Women's Champion within WWE following the incident. She has since been re-established as one of the top talents in the Raw women's division.

The bodycam footage being released prompted Morgan to trend on social media. Morgan reacted to the footage, simply tweeting, "Since I have your attention, let's do something good y'all" along with a link to a Make-A-Wish donation page where people who enter could win a trip to meet Morgan at a WWE Raw taping.
