Liv Morgan becomes the first ever women’s WWE Crown Jewel Champion
Nov 2, 2024
The first ever women’s WWE Crown Jewel Champion has been crowned, with Liv Morgan winning the title after defeating WWE Women’s Champion Nia Jax in a Champion vs. Champion bout in Saudi Arabia.
Jax used her size advantage to assert control for most of the match, but was distracted when Tiffany Stratton ran out to attempt a Money in the Bank cash-in, only for Jax to reprimand Tiffy and send her to the back. Stratton contemplated this and stayed ringside, only for Raquel Rodriguez to attack her and prevent a cash in.
In the confusion Dominik Mysterio arrived to distract the referee, Rodriguez clocking Nia as Morgan got the three to become the first ever women’s Crown Jewel Champion.
Post-match, Triple H arrived to present Morgan with the title, an emotional Liv standing tall with two titles as pyro went off in the arena. Despite the match being heel vs. heel, the Saudi crowd were firmly behind Morgan and could not hide their pleasure as Morgan lifted the gaudy title. The question is, will Liv be able to defend her gold next year?
