While it appeared Logan Paul would be away from WWE for several months due to his return to boxing, the YouTube star will be back on WWE TV this week.

It was announced that Paul will appear on tonight's episode of Friday Night SmackDown and a WWE.com preview stated he will bring "chaotic energy" to the blue brand.

Paul's return comes about after a back-and-forth on Twitter with Roman Reigns and Paul Heyman, with the Undisputed WWE Universal Champion taking issue with Logan's comments on his IMPAULSIVE podcast following Reigns' appearance. After noticing the exchange, Chief Content Officer Triple H invited Paul to SmackDown.

Speaking on his podcast, Paul stated that he thinks he could beat Roman Reigns inside the squared circle.

"I can feel the dog coming out in me. Like when I watch him on TV and in the ring, I just wanna f*cking wrestle the guy. You put me against Roman Reigns right now, I think I would win. Me vs. Roman Reigns one-on-one, that's my match," Paul said.

A potential Logan Paul vs. Roman Reigns match would likely not take place until the Crown Jewel pay-per-view on November 5, with that being The Big Dog's next scheduled title defence. An option for WWE in the meantime, though, would be to have Paul face Sami Zayn at Extreme Rules to continue any possible feud with The Bloodline.
