Ludwig Kaiser Says He 'Sorely Needed' Split From Giovanni Vinci

Ludwig Kaiser has spoken about his split from Giovanni Vinci in WWE.

WWE Superstar Ludwig Kaiser recently spoke to German publication SPOX, and said that his split from Giovanni Vinci was 'sorely needed.'

Kaiser, who split from tag partner Vinci in April, was injured on the June 24 episode of Raw, but has since returned to action, wrestling Sheamus on last night's edition of the show.

The Imperium member - who was tipped by Corey Graves as a future main eventer - revealed that he feels as though he has more freedom as a singles wrestler, explaining:

"It was sorely needed. [Vinci] had more of the team than I did. It kept me down because people want to see more of me in the next few years. I have to concentrate on myself; that's just how it is in wrestling. In a team there is always a compromise. You can never do exactly what you want.

"I always believed that I had everything I needed to become a big name in WWE. Also, considering my father's legacy, it was important for me to do my own thing. You could see that straight away. Within a few weeks my stock rose sharply."

Kaiser is the son of Axel Dieter, who wrestled primarily around Europe in the '60s, '70s and '80s.
