Main Event Of Evolution 2025 Revealed

Evolution 2025 is fast approaching, taking place later tonight in the State Farm Arena in Atlanta, Georgia as WWE puts forth just their second ever all-women’s premium live event, following up on Evolution 2018 seven years ago.

Back in 2018, it was RAW Women’s Champion Ronda Rousey defending her title against Nikkia Bella in the main event. This time around, it has been officially announced that Iyo Sky will defend the Women’s World Championship against challenger Rhea Ripley. 

On Friday Night SmackDown last night, commentator Wade Barrett revealed that Sky vs. Ripley would be the main event of the night, headlining over WWE Women’s Title match Tiffany Stratton vs. Trish Stratus. This will mark Ripley’s second WWE PLE main event (after closing out Elimination Chamber 2024 against Nia Jax), and it will be Iyo Sky’s first ever WWE PLE main event, despite her two reigns as world champion. 

Several legends have been rumoured to appear at Evolution 2025, with talk circulating over several names over the last few weeks. It was noted over the last few days that Evolution 2 took so long to surface due to talent being told that the initial event performed badly. 

The full card for Evolution 2025 is as follows;

• Iyo Sky (c) vs. Rhea Ripley - Women’s World Championship
• Tiffany Stratton (c) vs. Trish Stratus - WWE Women’s Championship
• Becky Lynch (c) vs. Lyra Valkyria vs. Bayley - Intercontinental Championship
• Raquel Rodriguez & Roxanne Perez (c) vs. Alexa Bliss & Charlotte Flair vs. Zaria & Sol Ruca vs. The Kabuki Warriors - WWE Women’s Tag Team Championships
• Naomi vs. Jade Cargill - No Holds Barred
• Jacy Jayne (c) vs. Jordynne Grace - NXT Women’s Championship
• Battle Royal - Shot At A World Title At Clash In Paris
