Main Event Of WWE Bad Blood Made Official

Main event of WWE Bad Blood confirmed

One of the major matches for WWE Bad Blood has been made official.

On the 27-year anniversary of the first-ever Hell in a Cell Match, the popular stipulation will be utilised for CM Punk vs. Drew McIntyre III. The match will take place at WWE Bad Blood on Saturday, October 5 at Atlanta's State Farm Arena.

The Hell in a Cell Match was confirmed on Monday Night Raw, with Adam Pearce telling Drew McIntyre that his issues with Punk needed to end and that Punk had agreed to face him inside the steel structure at Bad Blood.

Drew McIntyre and CM Punk have been feuding for the past several months since Punk suffered a torn triceps following a Futureshock DDT in the Royal Rumble. Punk went on to repeatedly cost McIntyre the World Heavyweight Championship and the two talents finally clashed at SummerSlam, with Drew McIntyre coming out on top. Punk then won a rematch at Bash in Berlin when they clashed in a Strap Match.

According to reports, CM Punk vs. Drew McIntyre is planned to main event Bad Blood.

WWE held their first-ever Hell in a Cell Match at Badd Blood: In Your House on October 5, 1997 when Shawn Michaels defeated The Undertaker following the debut of Kane.

Also announced for Bad Blood is Damian Priest vs. Finn Balor and Liv Morgan vs. Rhea Ripley for the Women's World Championship.
