Major Stipulation Added To Bryan Danielson Vs. Swerve Strickland At AEW All In

AEW All In match between Bryan Danielson & Swerve Strickland to feature major stipulation

The ante has been officially ‘upped’ for Bryan Danielson and Swerve Strickland’s AEW World Championship battle at All In on August 25, with the two participants agreeing on a major stipulation on the July 31 edition of Dynamite.

Danielson was cutting a promo in-ring talking about his career, reminiscing about ‘the good old days’ and how much he is loving his run in All Elite Wrestling. Danielson then brought up his current contract - set to expire on August 1 - and how he promised his family he will not sign another full-time in-ring deal.

Bryan continued, noting how he promised two things when he came to AEW; to kick people’s heads in, and to win the AEW World Championship. World Champion Strickland soon joined Danielson in the ring, and after admitting he respects ‘The American Dragon’ he turned the focus on himself, saying that like Danielson he promised to win the AEW World Championship, a feat which Swerve has accomplished.

The two went back-and-forth, until Danielson decided to raise the stakes saying that if he doesn’t defeat Strickland in Wembley Stadium then he will retire from active competition, a stake that Strickland shook Danielson’s hand on.
