Maki Itoh Wants To Appear Regularly For AEW

Maki Itoh wants to join AEW roster

She’s the ‘Cutest Pro Wrestler in the World’ and a cult favourite amongst fans, but Maki Itoh has revealed that she wants to join the All Elite Wrestling roster.

Itoh is one of Tokyo Joshi Pro Wrestling’s top stars, but wants to appear more regularly for AEW, saying the following to Wrestling With Honor:

"I still want to be in AEW. It is a narrow gate, but my dream is to become a [part of the] AEW roster and play an active role on TV," Itoh said.

Itoh has wrestled for AEW on several occasions, revealing that she would turn down any potential offer from WWE in order to continue her relationship with AEW. Itoh has wrestled for AEW on 11 occasions since making her debut in February 2011, with her most recent match seeing Itoh team with Abadon and Riho to defeat Emi Sakura, Marina Shafir, and Nyla Rose in a dark match in June 2023.

Outside of AEW, Itoh has made multiple appearances for GCW, most recently wrestling at GCW’s Now & Forever show on July 14.
