Mandy Rose Reveals She Pitched Her WWE Storyline With Otis To Vince McMahon

On night two of WrestleMania 36, Mandy Rose's and Otis's love story finally received a happy chapter as the Heavy Machinery member vanquished the despicable Dolph Ziggler inside the squared circle. This came after the deplorable Sonya Deville tried to sabotage her best friend's blossoming romance because she didn't think Otis was worthy of Mandy's love.

Their love story has ultimately been one of WWE's longest storylines in recent memory, with the seeds being planted all the way back in December.

During a recent interview with Kate McCrea at TV Series Hub, Rose revealed she was the person who originally thought of the storyline with Otis. She said when both Superstars were in NXT, The Master Of The Caterpillar would often post pictures of her and talk about how much he liked her "in a cute way." God's Greatest Creation realised it would make a great romance angle and pitched the idea to Vince McMahon, who loved it.

Mandy said: "Otis always was around in NXT and posting pics of me and talking about how much he liked me. In a cute way, not a creepy way. This continued on and I thought it would be great if this became a storyline, especially once Otis entered WrestleMania. I actually went to Vince McMahon myself and pitched the idea and he loved it."
