Maria Kanellis-Bennett says she will 'probably not' return to the actually wrestling ever again, saying the business should be focused on building up new, younger talent.
Kanellis has been working with Ring Of Honor since December in an online host capacity, after her and husband Mike departed WWE as a part of the COVID-19 related releases in April 2020.
The former WWE 24/7 champion, and IMPACT Knockouts champion, was asked on social media if she can see herself returning to a wrestling capacity, with Kanellis responding that she does not believe it will happen.
She wrote: "Probably not. It’s not about me. It’s about the future. The potential."
Kanellis last wrestled in July 2019, when she and Mike Bennett were beaten by Seth Rollins and Becky Lynch in mixed tag-team action on WWE Monday Night Raw. She would announce during the match that she was pregnant with her second child.
The duo were initially brought back into WWE in 2017 on Smackdown and also featured on 205 Live, prior to becoming part of the 24/7 Title-chasing pack on Raw.
