Marina Shafir To Make AEW Dynamite Debut
Marina Shafir will make her AEW Dynamite debut tonight
AEW star Marina Shafir is set to make her Dynamite debut on tonight's show.
The AEW Twitter account announced that Shafir will take on Skye Blue on the show. Up to now, she has only competed on YouTube show AEW Dark, meaning this will be her televised in-ring debut for the promotion.
'The Problem' is currently 4-0 in AEW in 2022 and has been confirmed as Jade Cargill's next opponent for the TBS Championship. Cargill is currently at 29-0 in AEW, though no official date for the match has been made.
As for Skye Blue, she last appeared on the April 1 episode of Rampage, where she lost to Jamie Hayter in a qualifying match for the Owen Hart Cup.
Prior to signing with AEW, Shafir fought in MMA (where she has a 2-1 professional record) and worked for WWE, competing on the NXT brand between 2018 and 2021.
