Mark Briscoe Calls Out WWE On FOX Account Over 'Dem Boyz' Tweet

Mark Briscoe responds to WWE on FOX calling Bobby Lashley & The Street Profits 'Dem Boyz'

Mark Briscoe was unhappy with the WWE on FOX X (FKA Twitter) account on Sunday, December 10 after the account referred to Bobby Lashley and The Street Profits as 'Dem Boyz.'

The phrase, of course, is popularly associated with The Briscoes and was the tag team's nickname for much of their 20-year run together. This prompted Mark Briscoe to call out the WWE on FOX account.

"For real?? This sh*t is hilarious. @TripleH, whoever runs this twitter should probably be fired for lack of knowledge. Or they need the taste slapped out of their mouth for lack of reverence," Briscoe wrote.

This sparked a huge row between WWE stans and other X users and Briscoe later backtracked, admitting he just missed his brother.

"Oh yea, thatsss why I quit posting on Twitter lol. Just logged back on…woww. Some of y'all are wild lol. I just miss my brother, that's all, and I got a little in my feelings when I seen the Fox post. @tripleh, you ain't gotta fire nobody, times is tough. Love y'all..take it light people #DemBoysForever," Briscoe wrote.

Maria Kanellis-Bennett also called the WWE on FOX tweet "tone deaf" but she has since deleted her X account.

Jay Briscoe tragically passed away following a fatal car collision on January 17, 2023. Mark Briscoe has remained a part of AEW/ROH as a singles talent and in a trio with FTR.
