Marty Jannetty Has Foot Amputated

Retired wrestler Marty Jannetty has been battling with an ankle issue for many years, suffering troubles following ankle surgery back in 2020. A few years later he was informed by doctors of the possibility of an amputation, though this is something that was initially resisted and on the backburner. 

However, friend of Jannetty, Eddy Mansfield, recently spoke on the Monte & The Pharoah Show, announcing that Jannetty had finally had his foot amputated. 

“One of my dearest friends ever on the face of this earth, and was a great wrestler, had his foot amputated, his name is the Rocker Marty Jannetty.”

Mansfield would then question why WWE did not step up to help the former Intercontinental Champion. 

“You can’t help him when he is in the biggest need of his life and fighting for his life?”

Jannetty’s last several years have been full of controversies, wild comments, and more. For instance, in 2024 he headed for divorce just days after being married, and claimed that he wanted to be known for “sex” rather than for wrestling in his career.
