A positive sign over a possible future for All Elite Wrestling on the Max streaming service has emerged.

It has been revealed that Max will launch a sports tier on October 5 in the United States named the 'Bleacher Report Sports Add-On'. The sports tier will be available at no additional cost for Max subscribers until February 29, 2024. After that, the tier will cost $9.99 per month, which is in addition to the subscription for Max.

Matches from the NBA, MLB, NHL, US football (soccer), and March Madness will be featured on the sports tier, as well as Warner Bros. Discovery's linear TV channels. Sports Business Journal reported that All Elite Wrestling will not be a part of the new tier upon launch.

While AEW content will not be available on Max at launch, the expectation is the promotion will have a presence on the streaming platform in 2024. Andrew Zarian of the Mat Men Podcast recently stated that he is confident AEW will be on Max in 2024 and the promotion's pay-per-view schedule will increase to 12 per year.

AEW already has a partnership with Warner Bros. Discovery. AEW Dynamite airs on TBS in the United States, while Rampage and Collision air on TNT.
