Megan Bayne Under Contract To AEW
Megan Bayne signed with AEW
Jan 17, 2025
AEW Maximum Carnage Dynamite saw the return of Megan Bayne, and it seems Bayne has signed a deal with the promotion.
Bayne was a surprise entrant in the Women’s Casino Gauntlet match on January 15, vying for a shot at AEW Women’s World Champion Mariah May. A report from Fightful Select suggests that Bayne has been signed to AEW ‘for quite some time’, with it expected that Bayne will remain on AEW TV.
The appearance on Maximum Carnage marked Bayne’s first AEW bout since a dark match tag bout in June 2023. Bayne was previously signed to AEW from late 2023 until mid 2024, although Fightful’s report suggests that Bayne was still part of AEW throughout her absence.
Bayne spent the latter half of 2024 as a mainstay in GCW, and has wrestled extensively for STARDOM in the past, teaming with Maika as Divine Kingdom in the latter. Reports in 2023 suggested that Bayne’s STARDOM run was potentially an ‘excursion’ with the blessing of AEW.
Bayne’s last televised AEW bout came back in December 2021, a victory over Leila Grey on Dark: Elevation.
