Men's WarGames Match Announced For WWE NXT WarGames 2021

The battle lines have been drawn and 'old school' will take on 'new school' in the Men's WarGames Match at NXT WarGames next month.

NXT Champion Tommaso Ciampa, Johnny Gargano, Pete Dunne and LA Knight will go against Bron Breakker, NXT North American Champion Carmelo Hayes, Tony D'Angelo and Grayson Waller inside WarGames at the upcoming special event on Sunday 5 December 2021.

The bout came after an evening of brawling and action between the eight men.

Hayes defeated Gargano and Dunne in a Triple Threat Match to retain the NXT North American Title, after D'Angelo provided an assist by attacking Dunne. Elsewhere, Ciampa defeated Waller in the opening match on NXT 2.0, with Waller then going on to brawl with Knight backstage later in the evening.

It was Bron Breakker who made the announcement, coming down to the ring to support his 'new school' compatriots against the first era of NXT.

Elsewhere, Kay Lee Ray was announced as joining the Women's WarGames Match. She will team up with Io Shirai, Raquel Gonzalez and Cora Jade to face NXT Women's Champion Mandy Rose, NXT Women's Tag Team Champions Jacy Jayne and Gigi Dolin and Dakota Kai at the pay-per-view.
