Mercedes Moné at Wrestle Dynasty 2025

NJPW x AEW Wrestle Dynasty saw a new RevPro Women’s Champion crowned - Mercedes Moné.

This came after Mercedes Moné put her NJPW STRONG Women's Title on the line against RevPro Undisputed British Women's Champion Mina Shirakawa in a Winner Takes All affair on January 5 inside the Tokyo Dome.

The match was centred around a knee injury for Mercedes Moné as the TBS Champion struggled to execute much of her offence. At the same time, Mina Shirakawa targeted the injury, particularly with a Figure-Four Leglock. Mina then looked to have the match won following an Implant DDT and Glamorous Driver but Moné kicked out at the very last moment.

Later, Shirakawa repeatedly tried to lock in the Figure Four for a third time, only for Moné to block the move with pin attempts before Mercedes was able to connect with the Moné Maker out of nowhere for the pinfall win.

The win means Mercedes Moné remains undefeated since signing with All Elite Wrestling. Moné hasn't lost a match since an unplanned defeat to Willow Nightingale due to injury in May 2023.

The win caps off an impressive few weeks for Moné, following her successful NJPW STRONG Women’s Title defence against HAZUKI at NJPW Strong Style Evolved and her win over Kris Statlander at AEW Worlds End to retain the TBS Championship. With the win at Wrestle Dynasty, Moné becomes the eighth woman to have held the RevPro Women's Title since it was established in 2018, with Shirakawa’s reign ending at the 134-day mark.
