Mercedes Moné Believed To Have Filmed Content For AEW Debut

Latest on AEW's plans for Mercedes Moné debut

After months of talks, it appears All Elite Wrestling have finally landed Mercedes Moné with her signing all but confirmed by WWE after a source within the company stated she would not be at the Royal Rumble as this would be contract tampering. Plans were also reportedly in place for AEW to make an announcement about Mercedes Moné but that was delayed after Vince McMahon's resignation from WWE

It is believed that Mercedes Moné will be physically appearing on All Elite Wrestling programming in March, likely after the Revolution pay-per-view on March 3. Mike Johnson of PWInsider has since reported that Moné is believed to have filmed content for her AEW debut in New Orleans last week. She was not backstage at AEW Dynamite, however.

All Elite Wrestling have their March calendar booked out except for Wednesday, March 13. That could change on Wednesday night, though, as Tony Khan will make one of his big announcements on the show, with the announcement expected to be in relation to Mercedes Moné or a possible show in Boston, Moné's hometown.

Talks between Mercedes Moné and AEW go back to the Summer of 2023. They briefly collapsed later in the year before restarting again in December, with talks between WWE and Moné going nowhere.
