Mercedes Moné Makes First Appearance In STARDOM

Mercedes Moné made her presence known at STARDOM’s Cinderella Championship Battle event on April 15, marking her first ever appearance in the promotion. 

After the 7UPP team of Nanae Takahashi, Yuu, & Yuna Mizumori defeated the STARS team of Matu Iwatani, Hanan, & Saya Iida, a masked individual with black hair ambushed and attacked Iwatani. The culprit removed her jacket to reveal the IWGP Women’s Championship, and then took off a black wig to reveal the blue hair of Mercedes Moné, to which she received a pop. 

She took the microphone, laughed into it, and cut a promo, “Mayu… at April 23, at All-Star Grand Queendom, you’re going to learn real quickly that there’s a price to pay when you mess with Mercedes  Moné,” before slapping Iwatani and leaving the ring. 

The pair are set to do battle at the All Star Grand Queendom event with the IWGP Women’s Championship on the line.  Moné is on the back of two successful victories in NJPW, firstly defeating KAIRI to become champion before defending it in a triple threat at Sakura Genesis over AZM and Hazuki.
