Mercedes Moné's Asking Price Above Charlotte Flair's New WWE Deal

Any promoter wanting to book Mercedes Moné will need to find a big pile of money.

According to Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful, Mercedes Moné's asking price was above how much Charlotte Flair is earning from her new WWE deal. 

"We revealed on today's episode of The Hump that word within the industry was that Mercedes Mone's asking price was above what we heard Charlotte got on her new WWE deal," Sean Ross Sapp tweeted.

There is no word on how much exactly Moné is asking for, nor the terms of Flair's new WWE deal. Charlotte recently agreed a contract extension with WWE that will keep her with the organisation for several more years. The new deal is believed to be a huge money increase for Flair and is one of the highest-paid deals in WWE history for a female wrestler. Flair will also receive a tour bus as part of her new contract. 

Mercedes Moné is currently a free agent within pro wrestling and she hasn't wrestled since sustaining a serious injury at NJPW STRONG Resurgence in May. There were plans in place for All Elite Wrestling and Moné to work together at one point but those plans have since collapsed due to the two sides being far apart on terms. 

There is no word on if there have been active talks between WWE and Moné over a potential return to the company.
