WWE legend Mick Foley has urged the promotion to 'strap the rocket' to Rhea Ripley after her move to Monday Night Raw was confirmed.

The former NXT Women's champion was announced as the newest superstar to join the red brand during the most recent episode of Raw, having featured in the 2021 Women's Royal Rumble match and ending the contest as runner-up to winner Bianca Belair.

The inaugural NXT UK Women's champion's last outing on NXT came in a losing effort to Raquel Gonzalez at the start of 2021, with the next stage of her career now confirmed.

Foley is excited to see what Ripley can offer on Raw but says it is 'vital' that WWE go all the way in booking her as a strong superstar.

Taking to social media, the WWE Hall Of Famer wrote: "It’s vital that @WWE not mess around when it comes to pushing @RheaRipley_WWE.

"PLEASE don’t allow her to suffer a 50/50 fate. Strap that rocket to her back, and see how far she can fly.”

Ripley has been utilised on Raw in the past, having featured during a feud with Charlotte Flair this time last year heading into WrestleMania 36. Now a full-time member of the Raw roster, it remains to be seen what plans the company has for the 24-year-old.
