Mickie James Wants To Create Stars With NWA Empowerrr

James is aiming big

Mickie James wants to create stars with the National Wrestling Alliance's Empowerrr pay-per-view on August 28.

NWA will return to the St. Louis Chase Ballroom for multiple events in late August and James will be an executive producer on the all-women's pay-per-view.

The former WWE Women's Champion revealed to Wrestling Inc. she is currently putting together the lineup for Empowerrr and is reviewing hours of tape to provide a combination of legends and top female talent on the card.

James also noted, "I want to make some stars!" with the event and she plans to do so by surrounding herself with "the Jazzes of the world, the Lisa Maries, the Lufistos, the Madusas - women like that." This would allow the women's wrestlers "to really perfect and fine-tune their craft to then be fr*ggin' superstars," James added.

No wrestlers have been announced for Empowerrr as of yet but former WWE Superstar Jimmy Wang Yang revealed to Lucha Libre Online that he and his daughter Jazzy Yang recently had a meeting with Mickie James about the pay-per-view.
