Million Dollar Championship Match Announced For WWE NXT TakeOver 36
Ted DiBiase's services as a butler are also on the line
Cameron Grimes will get another opportunity to carry the legacy of the Million Dollar Championship at NXT TakeOver 36.
Having lost in his second opportunity to win the Title at NXT The Great American Bash, Grimes has dutifully served as Champion LA Knight's butler, but Ted DiBiase has seen enough of the 27-year-old humiliating himself and wants him out of the role.
The WWE Hall Of Famer confronted both Knight and Grimes on the August 10 episode of NXT and said Grimes was too good to be a butler. Knight said he would be more than happy to give Grimes a third chance to become the Million Dollar Champion but, if Grimes lost, then DiBiase would become Knight's butler in his place.
Forever a gambling man, and showing his faith in Grimes, DiBiase accepted the challenge.
Grimes and Knight will now meet for a third time for the Million Dollar Title. Knight initially won the returning belt at NXT TakeOver: In Your House in June in a Ladder Match and retained it against Grimes last month.
