Mina Shirakawa has officially announced in a press conference today that she will be leaving World Wonder Ring Stardom on March 31 and signing with All Elite Wrestling. When exactly Shirakawa will make her return to AEW is unknown.

Reports in recent hours had noted that Shirakawa would be leaving Stardom ahead of joining All Elite Wrestling. The popular talent debuted for Stardom in 2020 and she will end her run in the promotion as a two-time Artist of Stardom Champion, one-time Wonder of Stardom Champion, one-time Future of Stardom Champion, and one-time Goddesses of Stardom Champion with Mariah May.

Shirakawa made her debut in All Elite Wrestling in April 2024 as part of the working relationship between AEW and Stardom, and she became a pivotal figure in the programme between Toni Storm and Mariah May. Shirakawa's last AEW appearance took place at December's Winter is Coming when she unsuccessfully challenged May for the AEW Women's World Championship, only weeks after May turned on her at Full Gear. Altogether, Shirakawa finished her 2024 run in AEW with a 9-2 record.

Since returning to Stardom, Shirakawa has been a regular performer for the promotion. She also dropped the RevPro Undisputed British Women's Title to Mercedes Moné at NJPW x AEW Wrestle Dynasty on January 5 inside the Tokyo Dome.
