TNA fired multiple figures from their leadership team on Tuesday, March 25 as Ariel Shnerer, Gail Kim, Rob Klingman, and Michael Shewchenko were all let go, among others.

Gail Kim's firing by TNA Wrestling was considered a shock as she had been a part of the promotion across multiple runs since 2005 and was considered a legend of the company. Kim was working with TNA as a producer and in talent relations in recent years.

Gail Kim's exit has fuelled unhappiness amongst TNA wrestlers, with Steph De Lander, Tasha Steelz, and Rosemary all expressing their unhappiness on X/Twitter with Kim's firing. Former TNA ring announcer Dave Penzer also tweeted that he was "tremendously disappointed" by Kim's exit and criticised TNA management for the decision to fire her. New TNA President Carlos Silva was the person who decided to carry out the firings, according to reports.

A top TNA talent told The Takedown on SI that they believe Gail Kim is a "major loss, especially for the women's division." Others believe her departure will have the biggest impact on the promotion out of all the firings.

PWInsider noted that Gail Kim was "very much loved and respected internally by the talents."
