Minoru Suzuki Vs. Nick Gage Set For 10/23 GCW Event

The battle will take place in Los Angeles

Minoru Suzuki is having quite the American excursion, adding a match with deathmatch legend Nick Gage to his portfolio.

Suzuki was confronted by Gage on Friday night at Game Changer Wrestling's Highest in the Room in Los Angeles, after Suzuki's victory over Jonathan Gresham. The two then began brawling, with Gage knocking Suzuki to the arena floor. Gage then told Suzuki he wanted to fight him, to which Suzuki accepted his challenge.

The match has been confirmed for the October 23 GCW event in Los Angeles, which will come one day following Bloodsport 7.

Suzuki has already wrestled twice in the United States over the past several weeks. After making a surprise appearance at All Out on September 5, Suzuki wrestled Jon Moxley (the reigning GCW champion) on the September 8 edition of AEW Dynamite.

The two will be on opposite sides of a "Lights Out" match as part of AEW's Grand Slam event in New York City, with Moxley teaming with Eddie Kingston and Suzuki with Lance Archer. That match will air on the September 24 episode of Rampage.
