Last night on SmackDown Live, The Miz and Maryse announced that a second season of their hit reality TV show, Miz & Mrs., has been commissioned on the USA network.

The show debuted recently to very high ratings and is currently only halfway through its first season, but it's clear the USA network is happy with how the show is performing by bringing it back for a second term.

WWE confirmed the news in a press release, where they mentioned that the USA Network has ordered and commissioned a further 14 episodes, each lasting 30 minutes. Miz & Mrs.debuted to historic ratings, becoming USA Network's top unscripted TV series launch in over seven years, averaging at 1.7 million viewers over the three episodes that have aired.

For those of you who may be confused at what this is all about, the series gives fans a look into the life of Miz and Maryse as they begin their journey into parenthood in the weeks leading up to the birth of their daughter, Monroe Sky Mizanin. The second season will likely follow the couple transitioning into being parents and adapting to life with a new child to look after.

When asked about the renewal, Miz said: "One word about the renewal: AWESOME!"

“Thanks to all of the WWE fans out there who wanted a window to our crazy lives,” Maryse added. “Be careful what you wish for!”

With three episodes from the first season still to air, we can expect WWE to start filming the upcoming series soon. The new series will air next year.
