We get to play through the highlights of a storied career...
Aug 14, 2018
2K have today announced the return of 2K Showcase, with Daniel Bryan the lucky Superstar honoured. In a press release, the company said: "Relive the most epic moments, the highlights and the challenges, from Daniel Bryan’s career that have made him the WWE Superstar he is today."
We were given an opportunity to speak to Bryan himself about the game which you can listen to below. During the interview, he touches on what moments from his career he's most looking forward to seeing in 2K19, which Superstars he most enjoys beating, and just who is the hardest striker he's ever faced in the ring.

Gamers will be able to fight for Bryan's dreams in 11 objective-based, legendary matches, and one additional “surprise” match, playing as variations of Daniel Bryan to unlock historic arenas, Superstars, attires and championships. Crucially, one of the matches you play through is Daniel's first-ever televised WWE match against John Cena from Velocity in 2003 - and that's just amazing.
Featuring historic WWE footage and interviews with the former WWE World Heavyweight Champion himself, the latest showcase mode looks like being just as brilliantly comprehensive as the modes focussing on the likes of Stone Cold Steve Austin in year's gone by.
While having all basis covered as has become the norm with these modes, this certainly looks like being a bit of a change for one of 2K's Showcases as a something closer to a documentary seen on the WWE Network looks to be the aim.
