MJF, Adam Cole Return At AEW WrestleDream

MJF and Adam Cole both returned minutes apart during an angle at AEW WrestleDream on Saturday night in Tacoma.

It began after TNT champion Jack Perry defeated Katsuyori Shibata. Perry had beaten Shibata down post-match when Daniel Garcia made the save. After Garcia ran Perry off, MJF (last seen at All Out five weeks ago) made his return. He and Garcia stared each other down, when Perry slid back into the ring and struck Garcia with the TNT belt.

MJF then hammered the downed Garcia, cut a promo, and produced the once-missing Dynamite Diamond Ring. He made like he was going to attack Garcia with the ring, when Adam Cole's music suddenly hit. Now healthy, Cole ran MJF out of the ring, before helping Garcia up.

Cole last wrestled more than one year ago. He destroyed his ankle making a save for MJF at the 2023 Grand Slam, but was brought back at year's end in a heel turn, portraying "The Devil" that tormented MJF for weeks. However, because of injury setbacks, Cole was unable to return to the ring in a timely fashion, and that angle was dropped.
