MJF Proposes A Buried Alive Match With New AEW Signing Ric Flair

MJF has a twisted idea for a match with Ric Flair

AEW have been put under some criticism over the last week after the announcement of Ric Flair signing with the promotion. His controversial history both inside and outside of the ring, and his age (74) have been the topic of much discussion amongst fans and critics.

Flair revealed that he was cleared to take bumps following his signing, and even made comments about wanting to do battle with the reigning AEW World Champion MJF at some point. Flair signed a multi-year deal with the company, and also stepped into the ring last year for his “Last Match”, teaming with Andrade El Idolo to take on Jeff Jarrett and Jay Lethal, so there is certainly a chance that it happens if Tony Khan wants to book it.

In a response to a tweet quoting Flair’s comments to Variety, MJF said, How about a buried alive match?”

This adds MJF to the list of AEW wrestlers (including Christian Cage) to have already made reference to Flair’s old age.
