Vince McMahon Yelled At Commentary Team For Trying To Explain Controversial WWE Hell In A Cell 2019 Finish

Vince McMahon wasn't happy with the commentary team at HIAC 2019

Fans have no joy looking back and remembering the awful finish to the 2019 Hell in a Cell match between Seth Rollins and Bray Wyatt, which saw the bout end via a referee stoppage and apparent disqualification due to Rollins wanting to use a sledgehammer to the head of Wyatt. Given the Hell in a Cell parameters, this made very little sense.

When answering questions in a Q&A on the r/Squared Circle reddit page, the newly christened Mase Madden responded to a question asking the favorite match he commentated on during his commentary stint back on Monday Night Raw in 2019. He didn’t reveal his favourite, but he did make note of his most memorable, that being the Wyatt vs. Rollins Cell bout, where Vince McMahon rained down hellfire on the commentary team for trying to make some sense to the situation.

“Bray and Seth HIAC was certainly the most memorable. I remember Vince yelling at me to stop trying to explain the finish and then the crowd threw trash at us as we left lmaooo.”

In truth, there really was no explanation to the finish of the match, as it defied all sense and logic.
