While there don't appear to have been any major injuries at TNA's Slammiversary pay-per-view, one of the promotion's top stars was banged up following the event on Sunday, July 20.

Moose defended the X-Division Championship against Leon Slater at Slammiversary, ultimately dropping the belt to the 20-year-old after an almost 300-day reign. One spot in the match saw Slater hit Moose with a Hurricanrana from the apron, which sent the former TNA World Champion to the floor.

Fightful Select has reported that Moose was "very banged up" after the Slammiversary match, and the apron bump caused damage to Moose's back and hip. The 41-year-old has since noted he is taking a step back to "get healthy" following Slammiversary.

"I've accomplished almost everything here at @tnawrestling……. @leonslater_ I have the ultimate respect for you and the x division is now in your hands….. SHOW THEM HELL. For me it's time to take a step back…. Get healthy and see what's next…I'll be back soon," Moose wrote on Instagram.

While Moose was banged up at Slammiversary, AJ Francis was miraculously okay after landing on a ladder nether regions-first at Sunday's pay-per-view.
