MJF Wants A Full-Time Acting & Pro Wrestling Career

MJF wants to transition to being a full-time actor and wrestler

MJF is the reigning AEW World Champion, raising his profile in a jam-packed 2023 which saw him involved in some of the year’s best matches and storylines, becoming the face of the promotion. He has also been making moves in the acting world, appearing in the likes of Iron Claw (albeit very briefly, also taking up the role as Executive Producer) and also voice acting in Justice League x RWBY: Super Heroes & Huntsmen.

The young star isn’t done with Hollywood, and in fact wants to make the transition to being full time in both fields. Speaking to Comicbook.com, MJF gave his prediction on what his career could look like in five years time.

"I genuinely think in five years from now, I'm going to be a guy that people see regularly on their TV screen outside of the professional wrestling landscape. Trust me, I love wrestling too much to not still be involved in it. I will most likely still be full-time, but I want to be acting full-time as well by then. I would also like to put out an album by then. I would like to be a well distinguished actor that is recognized as being a great actor that transitioned from wrestling like these greats that did it before me. Like Dwayne [The Rock], like Batista. Like Cena."

MJF certainly has all the fundamentals to be able to make that sort of transition, though balancing both on a full-time basis is something that no one has accomplished before.
