MLW Battle Riot V To Air On REELZ

MLW Battle Riot V coming to REELZ

Amidst uncertainty over the promotion's future on the network, Major League Wrestling have announced that Battle Riot V will air on REELZ in the United States.

It was revealed during this week's edition of MLW Underground the 40-Man Match for a shot at the MLW World Heavyweight Championship would air "this spring" on REELZ. The air date was then revealed to be Tuesday, April 25 at 10 pm ET.

Battle Riot V is set to be taped on Saturday, April 8 at the 2300 Arena in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Other matches announced for the taping include Alexander Hammerstone vs. Real1 for the MLW World Heavyweight Title.

April 25 is ultimately beyond the 10-week period that Variety claimed MLW Underground was going to air on REELZ for, with that period passing on April 11. Issues with the partnership emerged after REELZ signed a deal with Peacock to bring their linear channel and on-demand programming to the streaming platform.

As WWE has an exclusivity deal, MLW Underground is blacked out on Peacock when it airs on REELZ.

REELZ stated earlier this month that no decisions had been made about the future of MLW Underground on the channel.
