Montez Ford Returns At WWE's Madison Square Garden House Show

He's back in action

Montez Ford returned to WWE on Sunday, December 26, after almost three weeks away from the squared circle.

Ford teamed with his Street Profits tag team partner Angelo Dawkins at Sunday's Raw house show from Madison Square Garden against RK-Bro and The Mysterios in a Raw Tag Team Title match. It was the champions who would win the match, though, with Randy Orton hitting Rey Mysterio with an RKO to retain the gold.

The Street Profits are scheduled to be in action again on tonight's edition of Monday Night Raw against Rey and Dominik Mysterio in the final of the RK-Bro-Nament. The match was originally scheduled to take place a couple of weeks ago but was postponed due to an undisclosed issue with Ford.

Beyond Montez's return, Edge competed at his first WWE house show since March 2011 on Sunday, facing Kevin Owens in a Steel Cage Match at Madison Square Garden. The Rated-R Superstar wasn't originally advertised for the show but WWE "rushed" him to New York City after several wrestlers missed the MSG event because of the company's recent COVID-19 outbreak.
