Monty Brown is set to make a rare public appearance over All Elite Wrestling's All In weekend as it has been announced the former TNA Wrestling star will be a part of Starrcast.
Lance Archer announced the Brown appearance, tweeting: "This one is special to me as my Brother from another Mother THE ALPHA MALE MONTY BROWN will be making his FIRST EVER appearance at any kinda con anywhere. And it's during @AEW #AEWAllInTexas wknd with @StarrcastEvents."
Fightful Select reported that Starrcast and Paragon Talent's Steve Kaye had worked for years to have Monty Brown make an appearance. The Alpha Male remains close to Lance Archer and Kevin Thorn.
Monty Brown has been away from professional wrestling since his WWE release in 2007 - where he wrestled as Marcus Cor Von. Brown resides in Saginaw, Michigan where he helps and coaches children.
There have been approaches for Brown to return to pro wrestling over the past 18 years but he hasn't wrestled since the June 19, 2007 episode of WWE ECW when he failed to beat CM Punk in the ECW World Heavyweight Title tournament. Brown was considered for a TNA Hall of Fame induction in 2024 but the promotion struggled to get in contact with Monty.
Starrcast will be held on Friday, July 11 and Saturday, July 12 at the Sheraton Arlington Hotel. AEW All In will emanate from Arlington's Globe Life Field on July 12.
