More On Saraya's AEW Exit

Saraya has departed All Elite Wrestling, with the former AEW Women’s World Champion announcing her exit on March 26 prior to the launch of her new podcast.

Ahead of her exit announcement, Saraya had done several podcasts and said she didn’t feel like there was a spot for her currently on the AEW women’s roster. A report from Fightful Select states the announcement surprised ‘almost everyone’ in AEW, with Saraya reportedly having informed a close few people in the past week that her exit was coming.

Saraya remains listed on the AEW roster page, but when approached to comment Saraya’s management said "I can confirm we've mutually agreed to part ways. Her services have been fulfilled and we are parting on excellent terms” adding that Saraya is now a ‘free agent’.

A one-time AEW Women’s World Champion, Saraya joined AEW in 2022, debuting at Grand Slam II in New York’s Arthur Ashe Stadium. The former Outcast wrestled just 12 times in 2024, with her last AEW match coming on the October 8 Title Tuesday special of AEW Dynamite.
